Let's address the Elephant in the room…and the RINO and the Donkey. We’ve seen that Trump Derangement Syndrome is a very real phenomenon. I propose that Conservative Derangement Syndrome is also as big of an issue, if not the actual issue. While there are probably some real Conservatives who just don’t care for Trump, I believe that the majority of the Trump hate is really just about hating Conservative Values and Conservatives’ fortitude.
In this week’s Iowa caucuses, in the ONE county Trump didn’t win, he lost by ONE vote. It was reported that in that county where Nikki Haley won by a single vote, 50% of those voters were DEMOCRATS WHO CROSSED OVER ON THE SPOT TO CHANGE THEIR PARTY REGISTRATION IN ORDER TO VOTE AGAINST TRUMP, and don’t even get me started on why this shouldn’t be legal. (NOTE: In TN, it is actually illegal to crossover vote if you’re not legitimately vowing to be loyal to the Party you’re crossing over to.) So of all the Republican candidates to choose from, the DEMOCRAT voters who were there to negatively affect a Republican election, voted for Haley. This is not at all surprising to Conservatives. She’s the very LAST person I’d support.
I bring this up to show the parallel to what’s happening in Sumner County. It’s my opinion that here and across this nation, it’s not about a split Republican Party. This is about The Establishment vs. The People. This has always been my argument. Never mind a government for The People, by The People. This is about an Establishment Uniparty who’s hell-bent on being in control OF the People.
Let’s compare:
- For Conservatives, it’s not about Trump the man, it’s about the fight against the Establishment. It’s about The People standing up and taking back control, as our Founding Fathers intended. That’s the very same with Conservatives in Sumner County. That’s the very same with the Sumner County Constitutional Republicans - The Elephant in the room. They’re hated for the same reasons Trump is. For the same reasons Conservatives across this country are. Because the Establishment does not like when The People stand up to them. Period.
- After the Iowa caucuses, the Mainstream Media has repeatedly declared “They’re just white Christian Nationalists” that voted for Trump. WEIRD…because that’s what the Establishment folks in Sumner County say. Verbatim. Any citizen who’s ever attended an SCCR meeting or who has in any way agreed with them or aligned with them has been called crazy, white Christian Nationalist, mean, cult leader, cult member, someone that subscribes to groupthink, bottom feeders (this one was compliments of our Director of Schools), minions, cave people…and on and on and on for the last decade. But like with Trump and Trump supporters, those tactics don’t silence Conservatives in Sumner County either. And it makes the Establishment really angry when YOU can’t be silenced.
- The MSM, the Left, and the Establishment Right spend their days lying about Trump and Conservatives in general, for no other reason than to convince YOU to stop listening to them. If you don’t listen to them, then the Establishment can maintain control over you. This is the same for Conservatives in Sumner County - Discredit them with slander and libel, create a false crisis and blame it on them, make others believe they’re a victim of them despite zero basis for it, cause confusion by deceptively playing on people’s emotions, and file frivolous and baseless lawsuits to call their character into question. IT IS THE EXACT SAME PLAYBOOK we see on the national stage.
- Just like on the national stage, nearly every lie they tell can easily be proven false with eyes, ears and a brain. The problem is, they lie and count on people never questioning them. They get corrected and then simply walk away from the discussion, hoping the lie is all people saw. The lie is then repeated and shared until the uninformed just accept it as truth. I bet many of you still think Trump made fun of a disabled reporter. I bet many of you think Trump bragged about sexual assault. I bet many of you think that our County Commission hates teachers and schools and don’t want nice football stadiums.
- The MSM, the Left, and the Establishment Right like to do that of which they’re accusing others. Groupthink and cult-level followers?? CHECK! The current School Board (minus the 4 newest members) voted UNANIMOUSLY over SIX HUNDRED TIMES in favor of “The Director’s Recommendation” for the past decade. Only a handful of times did they not all vote in sync, and that was on the school calendar where they were given a choice between two options. It took The People standing up and electing new members in ’22 to finally have some actual dialogue and debate on the School Board. This is absurd. And now, they’re working overtime doing everything I’ve mentioned above in order to convince YOU to keep those unanimous voting type board members in power for another 4 years. They lie to you. They break the rules. They create fake crises. They play on your fears. They manipulate you. For power.
- But wait! Isn’t it just two republican groups fighting for that same power? No. It’s the Establishment vs The People. You know this by watching what they are fighting for. Are they fighting for rules that benefit themselves or benefit the Citizenry? Are they fighting for policies that make our community more financially prosperous for developers, or policies that improve the quality of life for our current citizens? Are they fighting to welcome things into our schools that the federal government pushes, or are they fighting to focus on educating our kids? Are they fighting for special interests, or are they looking out for ALL of us? Do they say things like “This isn’t going to cost us anything”, or do they understand and say “Every dollar we spend belongs to the taxpayers, not us?”
- The Republican Establishment welcomes…no, they NEED…Democrats. Conservatives don’t hide who they are or what they’re about. They aren’t ashamed. Nikki Haley is seeking Democrat support to gain traction. The Sumner County Establishment is seeking Democrat support to gain traction. To me, part of upholding Conservative Values means you don’t sell yourself out for power. You don’t sacrifice what you believe in for power. You work. You stand up to the frauds. You fight for what’s right. If the detractors want to call that “mean” and play victim to gain power, then so be it. If The People on the Right who are refusing to shut up, sit down, or be intimidated by the Establishment equates to being bottom feeders, then so be it. Because at the end of the day, YOU have a choice to make. Many people go with who they perceive to have the power because they’re afraid to step out. Conservatives aren’t afraid to step out. They aren’t afraid to disagree. They aren’t afraid to hash out the best way forward.
- When I’m comparing Republican Candidates, I want to know which ones the Establishment backs. I want to know which ones the Democrats support. They’re generally always the same. It’s no coincidence that the Uniparty supports Nikki Haley - it makes perfect sense. In Sumner County, for every Conservative who stepped out to run for office, the Establishment chose someone to run against them. In this upcoming election, you’ve got an establishment-ex-elected official, who was recently unseated, being recycled to run for a different seat, another one who is a close friend to the current elected officials who are regarded as the Establishment, another is a current elected official who I suppose will just hold two seats at once because I guess you can’t ever have too much power, and one who is a Democrat’s dream because they subscribe to actual leftist ideology. So it comes as no surprise to learn that some who support these local Anti-Conservative candidates also support Nikki Haley. It makes perfect sense. This is playing out across our Nation, it’s not special to Sumner County.
- Now that I’ve covered the RINOs and the Donkeys, let me get back to the Elephant in the room. The Sumner County Constitutional Republicans (SCCR) are a group of like-minded Conservative Citizens. They are not an official organization. They are not a PAC. They are not a cult. You can't really “join” them. They have a FB page you can follow, you can get on their email list, and you can attend their monthly meetings if you’d like. They don’t ask for money, they don’t tell anyone what to do, there is no secret handshake. They’ve had guest speakers like Col. Allen West, Congressman Mark Green, Brandon Lewis of the TN Conservative, & John Harris of the TFA. You might even be surprised by some of your friends who've attended these meetings. Most of them are also members of the Republican Party of Sumner County. And they do what the GOP can’t, which is endorse candidates during a Republican Primary. THIS is why the Establishment hates them. The SCCR tells YOU who’s who. They shine a light. They expose that which some don’t want exposed. They encourage regular ole citizens to get involved in our local politics and help them run for office if they so choose. THE NERVE OF THEM! Regular citizens running for office is precisely what the Establishment can not have happen. Ask yourself why average Americans having a voice and representing their fellow Americans is so scary to the Establishment. The answer is the same whether it’s here in Sumner County or in Washington. They do not represent The People. They represent themselves and their special interests. The candidates they choose may be very nice people, but they’ve been sold a bill of goods. They’ve been told they’re running against an Enemy. And as we’ve seen for the past decade, if elected, they’ll go in there to follow orders because they’ve been led to believe it’s the only way to save our county. Yet, the only thing they’re saving our county from are citizens not afraid to hold them accountable, not afraid to speak out, not afraid to stand up. A government for The People, by The People - that’s what the Establishment is afraid of.
If you're a candidate on the Republican ballot, but you're supported by Democrats, how can you be trusted to uphold the values and ideology of the Republican Party? If you don't intend to govern like a Republican, why are you deceiving the voters by running as one? Voters - If falling in line with the Establishment is where you’re comfortable, that’s certainly your prerogative. I just ask that you know and understand the Truth. On the national stage, Conservatives attack failed democrat policies while the MSM attacks Conservatives. Here locally, Conservatives and the SCCR attack bad policies and deception, while the Establishment attacks the SCCR. Educate yourself. Dig into the Truth. Look for the Substance. Beware of False Flags. VOTE!
